1. Haven't been on here in ages...I couldn't resist the tour rumors. No shows anywhere near Florida, or even within 700 miles. I hate flying, so if I can't drive, I probably won't go. I hope they add some at some point. They could probably sellout 5 shows in Miami or Ft. Lauderdale with all the international fans. Maybe 3 in Orlando or Tampa...but probably not.
  2. Ah! Hadn't seen it. The Siren is for Vertigo, the Whammy is for City Of Blinding Lights, the Wah might be for One... So nothing really revealing there, at least for me. Maybe Jeff (anstratdubh) or one of the other guitar guys can dig up more info from it
  3. I like the sound of that SFS rehearsal, full band. Let's get more excited about hearing songs from SOI for the first time instead of whether they will play stuff from 30 odd years ago, Acrobat, etc.

That is a bummer, although I heard they're not gonna play any Prince covers so it might not be as bad for you... Just kidding. It's a real bummer, their itinerary is pretty chaotic indeed, they're overplaying some areas (California) while ignoring others that have historically worked so good for them (Florida)... Oh well. I hope you get some 2016 shows at least.
  6. SBS new style:

    Bono's voice sounds good

    And my favorite song :

At least it's not fully acoustic.
  7. I am very excited about the sound of both songs. They seem so crispy clear for an arena. Looks like they have the roof sound system in control.

SBS doesn't sound "finished". I like the new approach but somehow old versions still keep poping up in my head. For me they can do it mopre radical

SFS is just awesome in it self and i can't wait what will happen if they bring it in front of an arena fully packed!! My guess it will be a celbration of LOVE!!
  8. I like the musical approach of SBS but the vocals need more work, Bono knows how to improve that melodies.

SFS is SFS, but it sounds much better in that muddy rehearsal than any other version we've heard so far. More Larry (even if it's basic, dull drumming) and more Edge is what the song needed.

    would be cool!

SBS sounds interesting and it's good enough if it stays this way this tour, even though it's only musically rearranged, not melodically (like they did with with mysterious ways multiple times, all I want is you, elevation etc). if bono could get some more changes in there, that'd be cool

ps: more edge in SFS, yes please
