  5. No it's still true. It's just that the dates aren't known yet. 3arena is still on as well, it's just that it will not have the same format and setup as the other shows.
  6. I do believe though that if it's 3 shows U2 will do ticket sales differently as well. Maybe a lottery system or something. Can't imagine these will have regular sales.
  7. So what does article mean arena doesn't fit for stage but then they say they have a plan for Msg dates. I'm guessing that Msg will have a motified stage? Smaller then normaL?

    They didn't really say that did they? I thought Bono just said something like that the 3Arena is no MSG.
  9. I suppose an outdoor show in winter is something they've never done !! The Aviva would be perfect and if people can go to footbal matches in winter .....

    People get there a few minutes before the match and leave a few minutes later... For concerts, most of the GA joins the queue and gets into the venue with some hours of anticipation. We would totally freeze out (and get soaked/snowed) at Aviva's field I'm afraid!

    In the interview (which I've just listened to) Bono says "The show won't fit in the 3 Arena so we're going to try something different - more intimate" - from that I take it to mean a different show in the 3 Arena
