1. It certainly does. Bloody HELL, that was mental last night. But that's for another thread, I suppose. Christ alive, what a night.
  2. That was well spoken by her. Freedom of speech is more important than not offending people. If nobobdy ever said anything anyone didn't find offensive, we wouldn't even need laws about freedom of speech. This is why we have them.
  3. Course the best drawing, was the chalk outlines out front (drops mic).

Totally agree with you, but honestly a competition for who can draw the best Muhammed cartoon is just stupid. As much as I disagree with Islam and any religion actually, I think its wrong/stupid to give a price to someone who draws the best anti-Islam cartoon.
  5. Yet piss Christ was perfectly acceptable.
  6. Was there a competition for who could draw the best Jezus cartoon then?

Sure, on a personal level we may think it's just unnecessary to do something that you know will insult people, but we still have to defend their rights to do that.

I don't understand why they need to insult just one religion while every religion is just as stupid (imo) that makes people angry, and I totally understand that.

Charlie Hebdo made cartoons about Muhammed, Jezus, the Pope, right & left wing politicians. But this in Texas is just picking an easy target, no suprise that Geert Wilders was there, I agree on some points with him but the only thing he really does is screaming and blaming everyone who is muslim without coming with a real solution.

But as I said before, I totally agree with you. Everyone has to right to say something that may insult someone else. But sometimes it's just so stupid and wrong that I don't want to defend them :p.
  9. No one was shot over Piss Christ, just saying
