1. Indeed.

BTW, notice on Fallon the roots have joined as well. Two extra guitars, possibly one of them a bass, and a big trumpet like thingy which I don't know the name of
  2. Bit of a let down that they play only 1 song from SOI.. But I guess they just want to lure casual fans into buying a ticket with some classic warhorses!
  3. They must be doing the album version of Angel of Harlem. I'm 99.9% sure The Edge is using his Rickenbacker 12 string in one of the pictures up there. The only time he used that for the song is when they recorded it (You can see him use it on Rattle and Hum in Sun Studios).

Well spotted That's the Rickenbacker right there:

Edge on his original guitar + horns + New York setting = an unforgettable version of a forgettable song

Other than that; what a boring, boring list of songs to peform.
The NY Times article did state that there was a separate rehearsal room backstage, so we're not hearing everything that the band do.

Let's hope for that. Maybe they've been rehearsing Mofo, Acrobat, Gone, Please, Zooropa, Womanfish, Like A Song and Hawkmoon there
  7. Or they're still chasing Stuck In A Moment's piano arrangement in there...
  8. Hahaha and Grace, Wild Honey and Stand Up Comedy.
  9. Stand up comedy would be great! I like the song...
  10. Peter's update last week suggests this will be the opening to the show (not sure if this has been discussed or not):

    1. Invisible
    2. Even Better Than The real Thing
    3. Desire
    4. California
    5. Mysterious Ways

Where would you go from there?

He also suggests that the band have been working hard on the Miracle Drug -> Streets combination.
  11. Wouldn't that be a punch to the balls?

Anyhow, the songs on Fallon make sense if they're marketing.

Beautiful Day - "War horse" single that the new generation has also heard.

Angel of Harlem - This one is because of the location, it's a New York song anyway.

Song for Someone - The new single from the album...of course!

Basically they did one old single, one new single and one for the city.
