1. Until.....

  2. I'm not saying don't play any of their hits lol but throw a song in we haven't heard in awhile. For the die-hards! People will buy their albums no matter what they play. Who doesn't own Joshua Tree? They are still relevant. They are so relevant that they can get away with a rare song here and there.
  3. I adore this song too much in most of its live incarnations, but I don't like when they turned the middle eight into what I called the "Ring those bells,Edge" Lullaby. Glad to see they are approaching it differently this time. Sounds harder, rockier!

  5. I NEED to hear Desire!!!!

I'm more than all for a "rare song here and there" but the way some people get on here the band should perform all of October and every obscure album track.

I really liked what someone said earlier about loving bands but not like the way they love U2 and going to a concert and hoping for the main hits. Think for a bit what it is like for a U2 fan who might consider themselves diehard even but isn't a member of a site like this, always discussing the band and listening to bootlegs. Then think of a fan who's a step down from that even. What do you think they want to hear in concert?

At the end of the day I really think you have to perform what brought you to the dance in the first place. Plus the tour hasn't even started yet! Look at what we got to hear on 360!
  8. Im starting to think if 'staying relevant' is a euphemism for getting as much money as we can, while we still can
  9. Setlist appears to be mostly conservative but I expected as much due to assuming they are under rehearsed. The set will develop as he tour goes on.

If Miracle Drug, NLOTH and RTSS make appearances then I have nothing to complain about.

    Yep, I agree

Sorry, but imho that's totally way off mark.

They would've get way too much more money if they had sell the album the usual way instead of selling it to Apple (the numbers reported in the press allegedly were way too optimistic).

So no, they have enough money, what they crave is for people listening to them.

Touring Greatest Hits over and over again with little production would be the most profitable thing they could make, yet they're going for the high production new album tour.

They care way more about the people listening to their new songs than for they getting a huge profit out of it.
  11. Saying its totally off, is maybe a little bit naive?

All Im saying is, it wouldn't surprise me if 'filling seats' plays a role too when deciding the setlist.
  12. You know, I forget that this is just the start of the tour! By beginning of next month, I am sure the setlist will change.
