  1. Just be patient all, a bootleg can take a couple of days. Enjoy the videos until that time
  2. Lol.

    Back in my day...

we were lucky to get a cassette of a show within a month or two of a show - and I was pretty well connected in the trading community. Now we need it the next morning.

I'm the same way though and I've been checking DIME and the Den (U2Torrents is worthless to me coz of their wait times) and expect to have it by tonight. We'll see...

Now you kids get off my lawn!

  3. Because i live very far

and of course i was from the era were i didn t know even when and where they play ...and less to have a boot so soon ...but that was B U S ( before u2start) ...since a few years we live in a new era called A U S ( after u2start )
  4. still feel like I'm living in a bubble of last night... as if I had been actually there. almost what a time to be alive, guys.
  5. Hi guys

I think from listen to the show last night its always going to be good cause where all bais, but to me it was good, but we all know it will be better, they may not be as much energy as in previous indoor shows, but I tell you all now, Out of Control is just up there with the best, its a song what just takes you to another level. well done boys
  6. I know a few people have already mentioned it, but I'm really sad there was not a single appearance of a song from No Line on the Horizon. I suppose it's only the first night.

+1. And I always will mention Pop as well in such posts.
  8. I'm very happy with the setlist for night 1, but would love to see the Mofo snippet become the full song, and maybe hear NLOTH again, too! With only 24 songs despite an intermission, is there a chance they'll expand the set as they go (not just swap out songs once in a while)?
  9. OK, thoughts from me after a very long night.

Setlist was fine in my opinion. The opening set is strong. The run of songs, and the connection they all had was excellent. The second set was a little disjointed I felt. The Sweetest Thing didn't really fit in at all. Every Breaking Wave > Bullet > Hands (snippet) was pretty good though. It would be nice to hear a full Hands instead of Pride. The closing songs were disappointing. We went all the way up to song 17 without a single staple/tired hit. Then we had Pride, WOWY, Streets, COBL, Beautiful Day, and Still Haven't Found, only broken by The Troubles (which was excellent, though I'd prefer Edge on vocals). To be honest, I didn't even notice that we'd gone all that way without hearing those songs. It wasn't until someone pointed it out on the forums that I realised. If they hadn't performed them at all, I don't think the setlist would be any worse off. They didn't perform One, and it doesn't feel as though we've missed out on anything. I Still Haven't Found was a poor closer. I wanted to give it a chance, but it failed to anything.

The SOI songs really were excellent. They stood up very well against the older songs and I can't wait until we hear Volcano, California, Reach Me Now at some point. It'll be interesting to see how much they change for tonight.

Visually - stunning. Nothing else needs to be said there.
