  1. Time to sleep .....

  2. Think it's supposed to be played like that seeing as though he does it on every chorus
  3. So, I had a quick look at the setlist and saw... Bad? Wow, okay. I'm sure that was a lovely surprise for people in the thread last night.

Also, I'm not sure how behind the times I am here, but if you've not downloaded the boot from night 1 yet, I highly recommend it. It's excellent quality, and really something very special.
  4. Anyone else surprised that they don't hang screens on both ends of the rigging so that the peeps on the ends can see the visuals?

Doesn't need to be giant LEDS like in the middle.

Would think this would've been a no-brainer to make every seat in the house a good one.
  5. Obviously a new take on the song, not forgotten lyrics.

Same thoughts here. The visuals are like never-seen-before, just like way back in the 90-ies. And with today's social media it really is as if that ZOO TV vision now has come true, at least to some extent. I mean the idea of interaction: between band and audience, sound and sight, and perhaps most importantly, between people.

    This hit me last night.

Not only all that you say here, but us being able to watch and listen to a show halfway around the world in real time that another fan is beaming up to us.

Not the band itself... not an official broadcast. Fan to fan(s).

    ZooTV...

    -mindblown-

We didn't even have cell phones in 92.

    Think about that.
  7. I watched it for a little while...
  8. Wow guys, what a night it has been.

I tried to wake up and live it again last night...but the lack of sleep from the first night didn't let me!
Very nicely surprised by the setlist. I'm happy with this level of variation - if it is consistent...not just changing between two setlists, but actual changes like this from night to night would be awesome.

Loving this idea and feeling of witnessing the show all across the globe. It's an amazing experience. AND I am very pleased to see U2 use Meerkat...I'm betting they didn't think of it before and only got into it once they saw people using it for the first show! Hoping they use it more often now

    Bring on San Jose
  9. Morning / Afternoon guys,
Just catching up with last nights gig (I didn't log in last night). 6 different songs from the previous night is pretty radical for U2.
For very personal reasons, I love the song Miracle Drug, so was pleased to see it played. The new lyrics will stay in the song, along with the slightly different arrangement. I quite like them.
When Love Comes To Town was fantastic.
    California was wonderful.
Overall, its taking shape, and I am looking forward to each gig with lots of enthusiasm and hope.
    Live is where they live.
