  1. Because I am also a bazillionaire rock-star, I'm curious what others (ie U2) do off on those 2 to 3 days off between shows in any given city ...

    - Do they fly home?
    - Do they hang out in their PJs, get over-caffeinated and read the paper?
    - Does U2 have hobbies?

    Both evidence and speculation are welcome

    Depends on the location of the show, I guess.

    When they play Amsterdam, Paris or Barcelona I'm pretty sure they will fly back home (wherever their home is, south of France, Dublin, etc), but now they're playing shows far away from home, I think they just rehearse, get to meet friends from that parts of the world and basically do what you and I do on our free days from job.

  10. They either rent out a big house with a view/water or just stay in a 5 star hotel. Then they hire a guide to take in the culture of the town their in. Although Edge does have a house in Malibu and Bono does have a apartment in NY...
