1. Can someone help me please, where and when did Bono add the
    "Where I go to, I don't know, where I run from. All I know is I wanna be next to you under this winternight"-snippet to Running to Stand Still? Was it a one-time thing or did he add the snippet more than once? I absolutely love it and would like to know what bootlegs to download to have this wonderful version of this already brilliant song.

    Thanks
  2. can't find any info on this snippet anywhere so i'm assuming that it's an impro from the B-man. Which show was it from?
  3. I found it on a youtube video, but it has no date/location details. Must indeed be an improvisation.
    embedding of the video is disabled (maybe this works:

    That user is REMY!!!

    Indeed it's from Los Angeles 1987-11-18. Many, many people likes that snippet, and everyone has sometime asked the name of the snippet.
  11. regarding the ongoing theme of snippets, I can still see you're missing a snippet that i've mentioned to the other U2-site; u2gigs.com.

    during the Outside Broadcast-tour Bono played a snippet on his harmonica at the very end of this leg, in Anaheim 14 Nov 1992 and in Mexico City 25 Nov 1992, both times during RTSS;

    the snippet is an old traditional Christian song called 'Let's Gather At The River'

    Bono mentions onstage in San Diego that he visited a local church prior to the show. maybe that's the inspiration behind this snippet?
  12. Thanks for the feedback If U2gigs adds it to their database, we'll show it on the adequate shows as well!

    Do you mean a melody played with his harmonica?
