    It always amuses me this thing about white Christmas. Snow traditionaly falls in the winter. It isn't winter officially until tomorrow (21st December). Huge snowfalls in 4 days are not realistic. Snow is not a Christmas thing - it's a winter thing; ie January, February, March. That's not to say it doesn't come sooner than that - just look at the Alps this year, but it shouldn't be expected. Same that Christmas skiing is an invention of the tourist trade (although it would be a bloody good idea this year......)

    You are right, but here in Slovakia is (better and actual word is was) snow an inherent thing from Christmas. Few years ago there was always snow at this time ... Bono should have done something about global warming

    We used to get more snow than we do too. It's a shame, it's very pretty.

    I'm not starting a global warming debate in this topic though!!

    When I was a child (ehm, I will be 14 in January ), Christmas gifts wre brought to me by little Jesus...stupid americalisation ---> Santa is everywhere you look, even he isn't very reputable here.

    When I'm writing about Christmas gifts, what did you buy to your relatives and friends? I bought a book for my mom and parfumes for my dad and (big and bad) brother...I am seriously thinking about giving a paper to the parfumes for my brother and write on it: Use often. You smell!
