1. Really, really good read. Interestingly, this is also the first "official" comments regarding the stage design and tour setup from this tour. Obviously it's hard to compare this to the massive spectacle of 360 (how are you supposed to hide something like that), but regardless I like the thought process behind the entire production.

popmart, 360 will never be topped by u2 or any band
  3. I really didn't like popmart. It felt like a lost attempt to one-up ZooTV.
  4. popmart had a huuuuuge screen and a ridiculous lemon - doesn't come near zoo tv, 360 or i+e, in my opinion.
  5. Yeah, but it was incredibly superficial by comparison. ZooTV utilized the theme of media overload to great effect. In a similar fashion, 360 was hugely revolutionary because it was a set-up that made entire venues look small. Plus, the unique setup allowed for greater capacities than other stadium concerts. IE features the greatest theatrical use of technology of all the tours. Popmart really felt lost. Sure they had a big screen, but it was pretty much there for the sake of having it. The same could be said about the lemon as well.

    yep, totally agree!
  7. Just a quick question about the VIP tickets - are they actually $250 or do you have to buy a GA ticket first? Some tickets are going for $300 without the extra perks... just wondering. Thanks!

No extra ticket needed. VIP and Red Zone tickets are a valid ticket in itself.
  9. Do you think One Step Closer will be played at all? Or any other rarity?
  10. Spoiler (click to toggle)
Considering that it's one of the songs that were rehearsed before the start of the tour, I'd say yes. We've already got some of those rehearsed songs that weren't played earlier in the tour, so I wouldn't be surprised to see One Step Closer or The Playboy Mansion appear one of these days
