  1. maybe sunday they will be more daring.
the 2nd night is always the best night.give or take.
closing tonight with 40 would have been welcomed.
at the very least play 11 o clock tick tock or party girl near the end.
strong arguments could be made for new years day and gloria in tonight's concert.
ok would love to hear seconds or surrender too but we can not have everything.
  2. I wonder if U2's past was too good for their own good. I mean, you've got a great show with great songs and people come away from it by saying things like "no rarities and no surprises" it really makes makes you wonder if the fans have become too demanding. I almost don't want to comment on setlists anymore because every night it's the same old "oh they didn't bring back X" or "they definitely should have played Y".

  3. Yeah I would be super disappointed after seeing the band of my life perform a great show with 7 new songs
  4. My comment is working as good as the Popmart Tour on american audiences.
  5. It's the other song choices apart from the 7 new songs that disappoint me sometimes
  6. I think the moment seeing your favorite band in live concert brings you disappointment is the moment that you've decided that band isn't your favorite anymore. And for that to happen to U2 is truly a disappointment.
  7. Wish they'd just do at least 1 maybe 2 tour debuts a night.
  8. Some vids from last night added to opening post! This stage looks seriously awesome even from the highest seats.
  9. Setlist tonight I reckon will be:
    The Miracle
    Out Of Control
    Vertigo
    I Will Follow
    Iris
    Cedarwood Road
    Song For Someone
    Sunday Bloody Sunday
    Raised By Wolves
Until The End Of The World
    Invisible
Even Better Than The Real Thing
    Mysterious Ways
    Angel of Harlem
    When Love Comes To Town
    Every Breaking Wave
    Bullet The Blue Sky
    Pride
    Beautiful Day
    Bad
    With Or Without You

They played AOH yesterday, it'll probably be Sweetest Thing instead
  11. Yep
  12. i just wonder where 40 will land in the setlist, if they play it, considering One wasn't played last night.

40 seems a given considering bono's story about dennis sheehan at red rocks.

but so does One. we will see.
