Tour: Innocence and Experience tour
Songs played: 25
Audio recordings: 1

  1. Not sure if that means "Haha, there's actually a lot of variation stupids" or serious.

19/23 or 24 are fixed, which is 80%.
The other 5 just switch from night to night...
  2. 5 out of 23/24 is still roughly 25% setlist variation from night to night, not to mention the most unique songs played of any other tour up to this point. If that's not a hallmark of setlist variation I don't know what is.
  3. I understand it wrong Never mind.
  4. Here we go again.

Dropping a song isn't variation, there's rotation at #2, there's rotation at #14 and #15 and there's rotation at the closing song. So 4 out of 23 if you're lucky. And what on Earth are these "most unique" songs?

For it wouldn't be a problem if they kept it like this (altough the setlist really need something more in the second part) but it's more the songs they are playing on rotation. Nothing special is in there, besides one time In Gods Country and Volcano some more, the others are overplayed (Elevation, Stuck, Desire) or just mehhhhh (Ordinary Love).
  7. + you know 80% of the songs a full hundred % sure before going to the show. Included when it'll be played. So <20% variation...
And like Tim (and I) said, it's only guessing between Out of Control - The Electric co / One or Still Haven't Found.
  8. Personally, I still think if you are harping on about "setlist variation" you are missing about 99% of the actual show. But I guess that's what happens when you observe as someone who is not at the show itself.
  9. This isn't going anywhere...

Saying there could be waaay more setlist variation (should, as that's what they promised) isn't the same as saying the is bad. And that's not what we're saying.
  10. Could be more variation? Yes. They promised that? No. Saying "we're considering" or "maybe" it's not the same thing as "we promise you this".
  11. I think people were expecting too much in that department. I do think it would've been awesome to see a totally different night 1 and 2, like Innocence one night and Experience the other night (like posted above) but they probably realized after booking more than one night in certain venues that it wouldn't work, people who can only go to one show would feel left out. They would've had to try some new method of selling tickets where it's like a two for one deal.
