Tour: Innocence and Experience tour
Songs played: 25
Audio recordings: 1
  1. I see it as them really going out on the streets of Dublin, 18 years old, marching and protesting out of despair.
  2. I like this SBS, the traditional SBS would be boring.
  3. And the chants from the audience during the chorus have a bigger impact this way.
  4. yep... the point is not "playing the song", but setting up the whole scene. The transition to the news and explosions wouldn't sound good with the original version... "I can't believe the news today..." then the news... then...
  5. Messed that up a little bit.
  6. Best new live song for me, didn't expect them to be able to play it live.
  7. SBS is boring. Don't get me wrong, I love the song, but I fell it should only really be wheeled out on occasion. It sounds at its best when the band are passionately pissed off about something.

My opinion. Please don't nail me to a cross, fellow fans.
  8. please watch the movie bloody sunday last 10 mins of movie
  9. Indeed. Plus you would also have too much energy during the original SBS so the (pretty majestic) buildup from Raised By Wolves would miss its effect.

Could seem sad to some, but SBS is just an intro to something bigger this tour, while on other tours it was the other way round. Hence the change in approach me thinks.
