  10. Some comments about Streets:

    1. It's still the most loved song by fans. It's still the only song that has been constantly on every show since almost 30 years ago (yeah I know Sydney and some early JT Tour shows are missing).

    2. Regardless of that, its traditional spot on the set list now belongs to Pride/Beautiful Day. Streets may still be the emotional heart of the show but is no longer the narrative heart of it. Now it helds more an "honorary" position than an "active" one. And I'm fine with that.

    3. For Bono, that speech about HIV is more important than the song itself. So, no he won't drop it. If Streets is the burger, the HIV speech is the broccoli he demands us to eat if we want the burger. And I'm fine with that as well.
    Happy? no, I hate that now the burger tastes like broccoli, but whatever, I'll have the burger anyway.
    I'd love it if he said the speech BEFORE Mother & Child Reunion, but apparently nobody is suggesting that to him personally. So, I'll try to enjoy the broccoli this tour.
  11. am i the only one who thinks that these SOI songs (maybe other than EBW) will struggle to ever get played again after this tour? i just can't see it happening
  12. I honestly think the song to sacrifice would be invisible, maybe open the second set with even better than the real thing followed by mysterious ways. I'd love to here the band break out Discotheque. Maybe play 11 O'Clock tick tock in the encore set. I'd love to see a 13 14 15 rotation each night.
