Maybe it's just me, but I sort of only get excited for these things if there's a great bootleg or a chance I'll get to be there to hear certain songs.
I get excited because it makes me excited to reflect on the tour.

As it started, I was weary that it would never top the 360 Tour. Something about it seemed too "themed" and sort of kitchy...they always take that stuff a little too far for me. But I think as the tour progresses, they'll find breathing room in there to switch things up. We're all aware of how drastic the differences were in the 360 Tour between '09 and '11.

I think that if this tour is still rolling in outdoor stadiums, they'll be forced to play with the design enough that it could break the mold of the 10-song theme that starts the show. We could see a re-imagined segue into the second half, ditching Invisible/Real Thing and opting for more adventurous choices. Who knows? But the more material they've broken out into the live scene at that point, the more directions they'll have to go.

So every time they play a new tune, whether I'm at the show, listening to the show, or never hear it in my life - it makes me happy.
