1. It sounds so lame in Dutch
Actually, everything sounds lame in Dutch
  2. And btw, you're a prick
  3. So in this article (http://livedesignonline.com/u2-innocence-experience-tour-2015/es-devlin-u2-s-innocence-experience-part-1?utm_content=bufferd960b&utm_medium=social&utm_source=twitter.com&utm_campaign=buffer) they specifically mention the lyrics in Rejoice and Lucifer's Hands....

What do you think of ending the first stretch before the intermission with Rejoice... and opening the encore with Lucifer's Hands.... or maybe just featuring both the songs in the set it would be a good innocence and experience point in the show!
  4. its unfortunate, this is so far the weakest tour since...popmart at least in the US. 360 wasn't much better but at least I got to see the Glast warm up show in LA with the super duper setlist. I feel more let down after every show. They weren't supposed to go out like this. Someone please tell me that they will be back next year with a new setlist, and please tell the band to not say a dam word about the show presentation or setlist so I don't waste my hard earned on seeing more than 1 concert.
  5. Popmart was not well received by the general public, but this tour has great reviews by critics and the casual fans.
  6. i believe it, there isn't much here to dislike and critics and casual fans usually see just one show...hell who would actually pay the ridiculous ticket prices(unless lucky enough to score GA) to see more than 1 show. plenty of hits, a new screen we haven't seen in a concert before, the sound is really good everywhere in the arena. just a falling flat to anyone seeing more than 1 show. just so depressing to even talk about...360 and popmart were my least listened to tour of bootlegs because of the constant same setlists, add I&E to that list. i really ran few a couple hundred shows since start of 36 hoping i could bank a hundred more from this tour and ration them out for a while...such a bummer
  7. i know zoo was same too, but i could listen to Trying to throw every concert and not get bored, and they would play around with that song every night, and you never knew how edge would play the extended M-ways solo....just a personal downer. thanx for letting me vent here
  8. It sounds like it's just a point of preference then. I would say that this tour hasn't quite found its groove yet, but every tour is like that. Hell, the 360 tour really ended up being a greatest hits tour and that didn't come into focus until the final legs. ZooTV was so different because they were so confident in the new material and they just took a huge risk and had to run with it. I don't think U2 has been that confident in their latest music for a love audience since then, maybe Elevation after that.

That being said, U2 has never really been a "follow them around" kind of band, at least as far as seeing more than one show and expecting surprises. They aren't Pearl Jam. When I saw them in Montreal last Friday and Saturday, I had no idea what the set would be because i went in spoiler free. I knew on Saturday though that it would be mostly the same apart from a few songs, and that's because it's what I've come to expect from U2. I love hearing Streets and Pride live twice in a row. I love hearing a vAried set list and would love for them to be more like Pearl Jam. Just not gonna happen. I'd also like to see them nail an even tighter set list down with a more focused idea. Sort of like The Wall. You know what songs are coming, you go for the presentation and performance. This tour definitely has some Wall vibes and I wouldn't have minded seeing an entire show following a concept.

  9. Surprisingly, yes. I wouldn't say that it was loudest there, but I found it to be the best balance between volume and clarity. I was really close to the I stage during the first 4 songs of the set and found it to be just a bit too loud. Obviously, it's a rock concert, so it's going to be get loud, but I noticed some sound distortion. But being afar gave the best balance. I think it's because of not only the acoustic setup they brought, but also because of The Forum's particular design, which is much more circular than most arenas. Maybe somebody more knowledgeable in acoustics can comment on this, but I feel like a circular venue increases the acoustic "sweet spot" compared to more oval-shaped venues.
  10. So far I do like the SOE very much.
Most of the new songs of SOI are played. Which band does this nowadays?
The perfect setlist simply does not exist. U2 have to satisfie both casual and diehard fans.

The thing which irritates me now and then, is that there are quit a lot of so called diehard fans who are quit negative at the moment, are complaining about setlists, being not there, having unreal wishes of songs which should be played.
