1. Not in Europe. Seen 3 shows and had two exactly the same setlists and one with 1 or 2 (if I count impromtu Party Girl) changes. There were some changes only on multiple shows in one city. Cities with just one show had the same setlists... 360 changed it more...
  2. Are you expecting more set list variation as the tour advances?

I really don't, except more songs in the designed rotation spots.
  3. I want Sleep like a baby and Reach me now to make an appearance or is that too much to ask. Plus more appearances of California.

If they don't do something special in New York (aka try a totally different encore, debutting more songs, maybe even turning the whole setlist updown and start with Invisible + hits, and then Miracle + SOI story on part 2, something like that) many of us will be very disappointed, even the less moaners like myself. That 8 shows run in the perfect chance to shake things up, have some serious fun and make things right for once.

What I'm really curious about, though, is the European setlist... They usually change whole portions of the shows when swtching sides of the pond, so it will be interesting for sure.
  5. I'm still waiting for Young Americans in Europe.
  6. In New York it will be basically sets 1-2-1-2-1-2-1-2 like originally intended (and even "advertised"), just like in LA... maybe playing a bit more with the rotational spots (some debut maybe), but I wouldn't expect them to touch the 19 fixed songs or the order of the set.

For Europe, yes, I'd expect a couple of changes in there, but nothing drastic. Hands for instance (which is halfway between a snippet and a song), and probably a couple of songs, but not much more than that. I'm hoping for changes in 11-13, though.
  7. But LA 5 though... I will never forget LA 5

You may be right, but cities like Chicago, Boston and NY are special for U2. They usually have surprises in their setlists in those cities. Vertigo Chicago 2005-05-12 had to me the best setlist of the tour and they shook it up considerably. We'll see.
  9. Surprises as in the debut of x or y song? yes.

Surprises as in 1 unexpected change out of the blue? yeah, I wouldn't expect it but I could see that happening

Surprises as in shaking the set list? eeh... it'd be interesting and I'd enjoy it a lot if that happens, but definitely I wouldn't count on that.
  10. I really think Streets & COBL should move to follow Invisible. They're waaaaaaaaaaay too late in the set
  11. Just watching the LA5 multicam. I really don't get people who say this tour is doing nothing for them. Sure I'm pissed of with the lack of variation but it's a great show

    +1
    Great show!
