  1. Also, no phallic jokes tonight and no setlist bashing... You would have felt comfortable Alex!
  2. amazing song, amazing performance
  3. Wow, Gloria?! Totally wasn't expecting that. Bono doesn't sound too great but still, sounds pretty decent everywhere else.

I think mine and Joyce will be the same, because mine is missing the whole intermission and the first part of Invisible...
  5. but... we'll see
  6. AIWIY ♥

  7. Streets!

  8. Ahhh it's like a dream come true! Watch as the next setlist party I join features Elevation + Stuck.

Generally speaking, I think the setlist bashing has calmed down a bit, mainly because people are getting used to the routine of this tour's regulars. Plus, I think the band has been doing a legitimate job of keeping the rotating slots varied every night. Elevation/Ordinary Love and Angel of Harlem/Volcano were good signs because it showed that they aren't limiting the way they are using their rotating slots. Initially I was thinking Elevtion/Stuck and Volcano/Ordinary Love would rotate in pairs, but it's nice to see them uncoupled. Plus, the fact that they played Bad and AIWIY in that slot between BD and WOWY that used to be occupied by The Troubles is making me cautiously optimistic that this will become another rotating slot in their set. If this is true, we'll have potentially 5 rotating slots in the set: The second song, the two e-stage songs, the BD/WOWY transition song, and the closer. Admittedly not the nightly variation people may have been hoping for, but 20% variation between nights isn't a bad thing. Plus, if they keep using those slots to bring back songs like Gloria or continue to try out new songs like Lucifer's Hands, Volcano, and Ordinary Love, people won't complain as much.

I do have to say though...

If it comes between phallic jokes and setlist bashing, I'd much rather have the former as a distraction to avoid the latter.
