  1. Wow Adam slapped the bass this time !!! unlike Vertigo
  2. UTEOTW

  3. So Like a song I was right again I knew Gloria WOULD fit in this slot :-P

    Now on to 11 O'Clock

    You're welcome ;-)
  5. So where do we see the other early song that they rehearsed fitting in ? Slot 2 or e stage ?
  6. Kudos I still think many other fits would fit better in the theme of the show.

Vertigo, from a totally different angle:

  7. Nowhere, to be honest I'd like to see it for the sake of another rarity added to the show, but it's never been a favourite of mine and it doesn't really fit with the show theme or sound.

Surrender, on the other hand, would fit with what Bono says night after night, and it's one hell of a song...
  8. Gloria, at last

Absolutely delighted with that one !
  9. I like listening to Surrender every now and then, but I don't think it fits with the general sound of the show either. At least, I think the other song is a better match. But I agree with you in that it's a hard one to place. I can see it on the e-stage since it's not quite a space-filling song.

Then again, I think it's hard to try and theorize how these old songs will sound now, especially ones that haven't been played for 20+ years/not at all. If you were to play the album version of The Electric Co. to somebody who has never heard it live and tell them that this is a killer, high-energy off the rails rocker live, they may be skeptical to believe you simply because it sounds so old on the album.

Amazing thing happened...the first torrent of Chicago 3 is already up on dime...!

(No need to wait for my recording...)
