I see. My GA's are listed for pick up at the box office, which is really annoying. I hope I can pick them up before the day of the show.

I would think so. I remember having will call for 2001 elevation show and will call opened at 3-4 so I just got in ga line and then went and got them when I could. But I bet as soon as u get there box office will print them with them playing so many shows,

NYC are hard GA tickets, not credit card entry.

If you have GAs in hand you do NOT have to show your credit card or ID.

    Side note:

Because I switched out my Vancouver II GAs for hard tickets at the box office I did not have to show my ID/Passport nor my credit card.

Yeah it's listed from 90 minutes onwards prior to the show, but it's show 4, so I'll try earlier and see what they can do Cheers

There were definitely a lot of empty seats at Chicago 1 and the majority of them were in those expensive areas.

Define "best seats". My guess is that these were the seats in the front row on the two sides of the screen? That has to be the case as my seats were 3rd row from the front, but right next to the e-stage, so I have no view of the center screen. It's interesting that they market it as "obstructed view" because whenever the band is on the e-stage you've got the best seats in the house.

Which happens dor the 25% of the show. The other 75% you're stuck with no/little visibility of the band and/or the screen (and still they're pretty great seats, don't misunderstand me).
  7. Is it really just 25% of the show? For some reason I remember them hanging out over there much more than that... Maybe it's because that's where Bono likes to do all his talking.

I will say that for most venues, if you are front row on the sides (paying $300), you are still going to be really far away from the band compared to sitting close to the e-stage. If I were to recommend seats, I would tell people to not stress out about being in the front row if you want to be on the sides. The screen is massive and everyone on the sides will get a good view of it. Basically, pick one of the side seats and get as close as your wallet will allow you to and you'll have one of the best seats. I'm a bit spoiled because I had the luxury of doing GA before seats, so I didn't necessarily need to see the screens twice.

"Best seats" as Ticketmaster sees them - and prices them.

I saw more empties there than in the 300s or ends.

Still a little surprised that they didn't put smaller screens on both ends for those folks.

As I said though, I could take or leave the screens altogether.

They have a smaller screen way up on the side of the E-stage. Or at least, in some arenas.
  10. I didn't see that screen in Chicago, but I wasn't looking for it, so it may have been there.
  11. Gotta say that it was incredible seeing the boys again. Can't believe that I took 18 years off... although I understand why things shook out the way they did for me.

Had to sell my tix for tonight coz an unexpected out of town trip came up, so I'll only get the one show.

Hope they tour the US (and world) again next year.
  12. i been away since thursday could some one please update me on all the recent bootlegs that's been uploaded so i can go grab them thanks so much
