  1. Leaving Chicago with 40 feels right!
  2. Night guys! Look forward hearing this back on a proper aud recording
  3. All that's needed is a yep. Wow.
  4. Ok time for thoughts:

    Songs:

    Bad
    Gloria
    40
Streets (even though Bono screwed first line)
    EBW / bullet
    With or without you
    Pride
    Beautiful day
    Invisible
    California
    Even better

    In that order I'd say.

Crowd was fucking amazing. Never seen a better one. Bono was absolutely blown away like I've never ever seen (matt too). If there's a show on this tour that's been better than that it surely must be a modern classic. Not many words to describe tonight. Chicago was loud and proud and the band absolutely loved it. Congrats
  5. There was also another snippet in 40 other than Adam raised a Cain, keep an eye out on the recording
  6. Which we'll have online within the next few hours
  7. Based on the various audio and video streams, I have to say that this show felt the most fun to be a part of, even from afar. The moment Bono turned to the Meerkat and told her to point to Edge during California just as he kicked off his solo was really amazing. It probably didn't seem like much to those in the venue, but watching through the Meerkat app it did feel as if Bono was able to make a very intimate connection through that tiny little screen. Of all the Meerkat performances I've seen, this one definitely shows how technology can be used to massively increase the scope of your concert. The Streets mistake was awesome because of the emphasis and energy Bono put into it. I mean, when everyone in the world is expecting you to say "run" and you belt out "feel" it's a moment that sticks. Plus, Bono just takes hold of the song and runs away with it. The Bono Freestyling was very much appreciated tonight.

I think if they wanted a solid show to turn into a DVD, it would be this one. Incredibly solid performances of all the setlist staples, amazingly polished performances of the rarities, plus a couple mix-ups to let you know it's all real. The fact that Bad and 40 were played on the same night helps as well.
  8. Surely the best show yet.
  9. Cool they played Gloria, California, Bad and 40 again Especially California since I was afraid it was send to the same pile as Troubles and Miracle Drug.
  10. Nice to see Cali back! They should play it a lot more often (same goes for Volcano and Troubles)
  11. Full MP3 recording up on our show pages.
