Would have been cool if they had done Mofo, Disco, Velvet and then WOWY. I think they were thinking of doing that encore if they had done the summer 2006 N. American stadium tour they were contemplating for awhile. Once that got nixed so did the Popcore unfortunately. Too bad, maybe next tour.

Thanks for sharing that. That would've been a great encore.
  2. a Summer 06 US stadium tour? I thought it was for the 3rd Leg that they wanted to bring the stadium show to the US. American Arena show - Europe Stadiums then US Stadiums then onto the rest of the world. Didn't know it was an 06 US leg though. Interesting though. I knew they scaled the tour back but I didn't realise that they skipped a whole stadium leg.

Nope, they were tentatively planning a stadium tour in the late spring early summer of 2006 for N. America. They had already reserved a couple of stadiums at the time including Soldier Field in Chicago. But they obviously decided not to do it.

No prob. BTW, anyone else feels taht the Vertigo Tour has been the most disorganised of all of their tours?? With that March-November 2006 break, etc... Even the Zoo TV Tour was a bit more organised

it was only disorganised because of the whole family illness thing and the March-November break was the best thing to happen to that tour

Yes, I know, but the whole thing was disorganised from the summer... Anyway it's been great IMO, all the 5 legs have been good musically and in terms of performance, artistics, stage design, etc. A Very Good to Excellent Tour in my opinion. One of their 5 bests :T
  10. i'm still not getting the disorganisation

Like a Song you always seem to bring a smile to me!! Thanx!!

I think your talking about the whole ticket issue that was all jacked up from U2.com, also the stadium situation, Edge's daughter, and i think the guys were a little pressured, again, to get the tour going. Just seemed like a lot of obstacles for the guys!! But like your saying it was a great tour none the less. A year and a half of touring, over 300 shows, great visuals, great album, it was awesome!!!

Maybe next tour could have a bit of a mix up of tunes that are old and new !! That would be cool!!!
