    Theoretically, yes. But
    a) I don't have a recorder capable of recording directly in AAC and,
    b) I don't know beforehand what the stream will be.

    these mixlr broadcasts are mixed; that is, some stereo processing and eq' ing was done to make it as listable as possible - I mean, although the sound is not 100% of what this is about, I'm at least trying to make it as good as possible.

    Hey... I just enjoy being able to have the show. Not much concerned much with quantum physics or rocket science here, just surrendering to the music.

    Of course, in the end it all comes down to whether you like it or not. But I appriciate hoserama's questions (and others) for this might help me to improve my game!
    (Not everyone knows this, but hoserama did some incredible Springsteen iem-matrix mixes, eg. San Jose 2009, right?)

    I wasn't criticizing hoserama either! It just doesn't matter to me. Let me in the sound. Then I'll decide... I have some vinyl boots from the 80's. Some sound better than others, some I listen to more than others... But I have them. Good or not, each and every one has at least one magic moment to it!

    I was only making the point I'm no space-aged whiz kid... FLAC, mp3, 48 this, 48 that... Foreign language to me. Both sound better than some of the old school technology of some of the shows I have. And here, you have a choice and can listen first. Back in the day, you didn't have that option.

    Kids today are so damn spoiled!

    Yep, San Jose 2008 was mine, and a couple other from 2009. I just released a nice mix from St. Louis 2008 if you were interested. I've released a bunch of U2 mixes too, although its under the name sharebear.
