    Sure, you need iTunes for it though. Download the files to our computer, unzip the files so you have the MP3's. Then go to iTunes, and do File > Add files, select the files. Then copy them to a playlist (right mouse > copy to playlist). And then click on your iPhone, click "Music", ensure your playlist is selected. Then press Sync, all done

  8. I think Alex may want to bypass iTunes altogether and download on the go. If so, I'm not sure it's possible to write directly to Music. You can however still download bootlegs and listen to them on your phone.

    1. Install 'Mega' app and sign in. Most of our Bootlegs are hosted on Mega.
    2. Install 'iZip' in order to unzip the file.
    3. Head to U2start.com and head to the show you want to download.
    4. Once you click the link, it will open in the Mega app and ask you where you want to sync. Select a folder and hit 'Done'.
    5. Once sycned, you'll need to download it by tappuing on the file.
    6. Once downloaded, tap the file again and then tap the 'share' icon in the top right and select 'Open in iZip'
    7. iZip will ask if you want to extract the files, tap 'ok'.
    8. Open the extracted folder and start playing!

    There is no skipping functionality within iZip other than previous and next. All files do play continuously though, so you can start at track one and then let the bootleg play in the background. Remember that files are 100-300MB and often come in 2 parts. It's not an ideal process, but it is there if you ant to listen to a bootleg. There might be third-party music apps that allow you to export/import between them and iZip, but I haven't looked into that.
  11. Yes! I thought I lost it and I just KNEW I had it somewhere because I did this in like January or February this year - then it all came back to me with that impossible "bootleg award"...
    Anyway, the thing is that it is an authentic representation of the original broadcast (including some pitch corrections).
    The re-broadcast of 2007 is perfect for in the car and otherwise "on speakers," but the original broadcast is what you want on your headphone.
    In time there will be a dedicated BigGirl "classic" remaster topic, in which I will feature this (there are in fact already more classic BG remasters in the u2start datbase...)

    My pleasure! I'm really grateful that my remasters can have a place in the BIG, BIG, u2start database (and especially this one because it features a transfer from a tape that was part of the U2 Holland trading pool back in the 80-ies - it means a lot to me and to several other people...)
