1. Also, has anyone figured out the significance of the "date" t-shirts? Are they just dates they've played gigs? Or some other significance?
  2. Edge's famous No. 7 shirt is from the Elevation tour.
The significants of the dates on Adam's shirts is that thse dates are a reference to the first time they played that city, or, in case of Boston, to other legendairy shows (Adam knows the "classics"!)

(Dee... I thought Adam wore a 1983-something-something shirt... but have no picture...yet???)
  3. Yeah, I knew when I typed JT I was wrong, but I've been up since about 4:30am and haven't had nearly enough coffee yet.

I did not see Adam wearing a date shirt in Boston on Friday night. He may have on Saturday, but I wasn't paying enough attention when I watched squintyt4e's youtube video.

For Boston he'd have had to have been wearing a Dec. 13, 1980 shirt. Unless they're only counting The Paradise shows in March of 1981 as their first Boston appearance.
  4. Its "May.05.1983" (Orpheum 1)

    [backstage, July 10th]

    [Boston #1]

    Can't wait for Amsterdam: Oct.15.1980

Think I'm going to try to make a Oct.14.1980 T-shirt - Hilversum, De Tagrijn (used as KRO studio) - U2's first continental gig & legendary radio broadcast... *emotional*
  6. one more:
  7. Now it's a great time to listen to the actual 1983-05-05 Boston show. For many years, people thought the FM Broadcast of May 6th was from May 5th, but an actual audience recording surfaced and we have it here. Amazing show, as good as the 2nd night.

I wanted to do the same thing! LOL
  9. btw, I've been busy lately and I (almost) haven't had internet at work, but since I enjoyed doing those cards in this thread a couple of weeks ago, I decided I could give it a try to something a bit more complete, so if you liked those cards, hopefully soon you'll enjoy the whole album...

It's just for fun, but I've been exchanging ideas with César on how to make it work (for collecting the cards). Right now I'm already working on the Toronto page, so soon it'll be ready.
  10. O M G . . . I LOVE IT, LOVE IT, LOVE IT ! ! !

This is just SO great.... Man... Each year we have these supermarkets with their soccer/football sticker cards - and I have to collect them for my 2 little nephews you know...
And now...and now....there is ONE sticker album for ME

This is great BR... You have no idea how much I like this (even if it's only virtual... TRUE art is in the idea alone...)
