1. Today it is exactly 10 years ago that U2 ended their 3 nights Amsterdam "Vertigo" stand with an extraordinary show. At least it was for most of us who went, including myself

The concert not only saw a rare Who's Gonna Ride Your Wild Horses performance and an even rarer Edge "mistake" in New Year's Day, the show also marked the debut of Miss Sarajevo into the Vertigo set list. In fact the song came to replace RTSS for the rest of the entire Vertigo tour (if memory serves me well - please correct me if I'm, wrong!)...

Seriously impressed, I spent the weeks following the concert trying to recapture the feeling of that night – indeed, not necessarily the best sound, but rather the mood and the vibe of the concert. Finally I combined 3 sources, Seriously impressed, I spent the weeks following the concert trying to recapture the feeling of that night – indeed, not necessarily the best sound, but rather the mood and the vibe of the concert. Finally I combined 3 sources, using 1 exclusively for the bass and the two others for, respectively, the mid-range and the high-end of the mix.

The really strong asset of this mix is the Dutch audience. They are "full blown" right from the start. Highlight in this respect is ISHFWLF, closely followed by Elevation. Actually this whole show was crazy, from start to finish.

Being 10 years ago now right to this day, and with 4 fresh Amsterdam concerts coming up, I just had to share it with you again. This is my home crowd & this is where I come from. This is U2Holland

  2. I was there also! My best U2 show!

A day which I'll never forget.

The Arena was shaking and regularly went shivers through the stadium.
  3. Thank you.

Can you share the FLAC version?

  5. Nice to have a better recording of a great memory
  6. Great, thanks 2nd leg Vertigo Tour is always welcome, just a few weeks before my first show

And yes, you're right thinking this was the first time Miss Sarajevo replaced RTSS as the follow up to Bullet, and it continued throughout the rest of the tour (sadly) I conmemorated it yesterday too:

The concert you've uploaded is also the very last time that Who's Gonna RIde Your Wild Horses was played in full electric form ever
  7. Thanks
  8. Have to ask of course--what program do you use for mixing and then what's your workflow for time alignment?
  9. Thank you!
  10. Flacs can be made availlable!

@Hoserama, the programm I use is Pristine Sounds 2000 (see info by toggling the spoiler thing) The (time) alignment was done by exact measuring and adjusting for each track.
