This.
A thousand times this, nobody can't fail seeing it.
As a guitar player myself I feel cheated. Who knows how many times I've thought "wow, my guitar hero, the man who pushed me to pick up my first guitar ten years ago, has really NAILED this or that solo" and it was pre-recorded?
Originally posted by flowerchild:like I mentioned before, maybe edge switches between playing the solo live and playing the backing chords live. maybe the solo was recorded with a different guitar/tuning altogether, so he's forced to do it this way. I'm sure he's not doing this, because he's lazy or can't play it.. I hope none of you are actually thinking that.

if your trust in your guitar hero can be shattered this fast, I'm worried about you

It's not a trus issue... It's something different altogether. It's a genuine worry for the increasing amount of pre-recorded stuff that they use as their career progresses. If I want to hear pre-recorded music I put it on my stereo, where I have no complaints about the setlist because I choose itIf I want to hear live music, I go (and pay BIG money) to a live show in order to see my preferred artists play LIVE.

ok then, maybe edge will finally reveal himself as the man from outer space he is and grow another pair of arms for you
