1. like I mentioned before, maybe edge switches between playing the solo live and playing the backing chords live. maybe the solo was recorded with a different guitar/tuning altogether, so he's forced to do it this way. I'm sure he's not doing this, because he's lazy or can't play it.. I hope none of you are actually thinking that.

A thousand times this, nobody can't fail seeing it.

As a guitar player myself I feel cheated. Who knows how many times I've thought "wow, my guitar hero, the man who pushed me to pick up my first guitar ten years ago, has really NAILED this or that solo" and it was pre-recorded?

if your trust in your guitar hero can be shattered this fast, I'm worried about you

No definitely not. I don't think he's lazy or can't play it. Edge is an amazing guitarist. His Bullet solos can shut up any "The Edge sucks at guitar" haters, but I'm just more wondering why? It's a short and easy solo to play so why not just do it. He has Dallas to switch the effects so it's not like that's the problem. Then again I am bitching about a short and easy solo.... hahaha I guess my biggest thing is why?
  4. I just love seeing how Edge's solos progress and change throughout the tour (sometimes tours) and would just like Invisible to get the same chance at those cool changes as every other song with a solo that's played.
  5. maybe someone of us has the chance to ask him when he visits the GA line
  6. Me: "Excuse me The Edge. Why don't you play the solo on Invisible anymore?"

Edge: "Because I'm The fucking Edge and I can do whatever I damn well please, you got that?"

    Me: "Yes sir."
  7. lol it would be worth a try it's a good question, imo.
  8. You didn't address him as "Mr. The Edge", so it's no wonder he was so harsh in his response.
  9. It's not a trus issue... It's something different altogether. It's a genuine worry for the increasing amount of pre-recorded stuff that they use as their career progresses. If I want to hear pre-recorded music I put it on my stereo, where I have no complaints about the setlist because I choose it If I want to hear live music, I go (and pay BIG money) to a live show in order to see my preferred artists play LIVE.
  10. That must be why he Stone Cold Stunnered my friend when he addressed him as Dave.

ok then, maybe edge will finally reveal himself as the man from outer space he is and grow another pair of arms for you
  12. or maybe he'll reveal that the arthritis is really kicking in and limits his ability in a live environment. who knows. who cares. enjoy the ride.
