  1. hello people whats happening ??
show time in just over an hour
    then i go out
    on a lovely rainy day
    yay its not cold anymore
    we had rain
  2. Rain, rain, rain, I don't mind
  3. Seriously ? Wow...

So, nothing spontaneous or from his heart at all.
Do you he wrote it himself or someone else did.
  4. That is embarrassing. Lyrics telepromters are not uncommon (Stones, Ozzy) but written out chat between songs? That's ridiculous, especially for a seasoned speaker and raconteur like Bono. This guy talks for a living. Is he losing his memory? Or does he just not give a shit? How many cities is he calling his "second hometown?" Is that in the pre-written chat, haha!
  5. Now I want to watch it again.
  6. Just got back in the thread. Fucking hell, Bono. I'm gonna find a new band. Tim, delete my account.

    Been nice knowing you all.
  7. I don't have a huge problem with it. He wants to covey the same message each show - its not as if he necessarily follows it to a tee or stands there and reads it. In Montreal there was a girl with a teleprompter following him. Consider it a back up plan. Plus he messes up lyrics each night so clearly he does not read!

    oh dear
  9. I know Bono would used to get the audience on his side by saying how he loves the city, etc but this is a little ridiculous..

    Pretty shocked tbh.

  10. I can understand the speech written for (Red), after all it is a big deal to him and he probably wants to make sure that the audience are aware of the work that has been done. It's no different to Desmond Tutu or Stephen Hawking's messages, only he's delivering it live. A written speech on the teleprompter for "Let's have tea and biscuits with Guggi" though - that's not on.
  11. Maybe the bike accident was harder than we thought.
