  1. yikes, maybe 8 shows is too much to ask from the band at this stage of their career. with extended stays in CHI, BOS and NY I really thought they would have had the time to figure out some new stuff for the shows by now. really disappointing. Hey, maybe this was for the DVD so...so that means we will probably see this same set one more time in NY. Cheers to all the loyal multi-show attending fans, I'm sure the band's grandchildren thank you very much...since they all made enough money that even their kids can't blow it all!
  2. Don't take Steve lillywhite or Dallas seriously anymore
  3. wow, even worse...the one song, the one song that should just be the band and the audience...specifically this audience, and they go and f#ck it up! Why? they did it on his stupid show the one that NO ONE IN NEW YORK actually watches. how dare they do that to Billy Holiday, to that audience, to that town!!!!! thank the lord I had to work and didn't get to hear this Angel garbage or I would be without a computer right now...#hulksmash
  4. please, none of that was about a surprise. it was about social media and trying to deliver some hype...
  5. So, I am just checking in and wondering - besides no October, why all the complaints about the set list tonight? Not too different from the last two nights (which, if that's the complaint, isn't that what some have been upset about this whole tour?)

Cool that Fallon and the Roots were on stage tonight.

    Still 5 more shows!
  6. fallon not cool and been done, yes setlist sucked, yes everything disappointing. but first two shows were pretty hot, so a cool down can be expected. 5 shows left and they might be running out of gas. but really we saw this being the actual tour before they even hit Chicago, so I guess we all just need to check ourselves a little. still disappointing. Band used to apply for the job of best band on planet every tour. now they seem to be applying for the job of "hey, we're still a really good rock band, come to our concerts, as many as you can, and we'll show you.
  7. These guys in New York are quick.

What! The crowd ate it up. Best show out of the 3 so far for me. I guess being there really makes a big difference
  9. nah, well yeah, but there's no need to be there to enjoy the show, all you need to do is to open the the live streams and avoid the setlist parties. The show improves exponentially without them
  10. Is there enough in the tank for 8 shows?
  11. not sure. from what I heard Bono sounded a bit off tonight... they really need to spice it up, not just for the fans but for themselves too
