  1. What the hell? You guys got Jimmy Fallon AND The Roots on stage and all I see is complaining as far as the eye can see.

I literally cannot comprehend this. See you for tomorrow's show.
  2. The militarization of fandom rears its ugly head again.

So you don't like Jimmy Fallon or The Roots... well, they do.

    Get over it.
  3. ...it looks kinda funny though...

If the general consent of NYC#3 being "poor" and "weak", fair chance that the redeem themselves with NYC#4...
(But expecting still heavy rotation and setlist surprises all the time doesn't seem realistic to me...although I kinda agree that dropping October with nothing "in return" - not even AIWIY - is a little disappointing)
  4. Larry singing!
  5. woow, that's great, I was missing Larry singing... since How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb / Vertigo Tour era, he sang a lot (even on studio's versions... look at Miracle Drug and Ordinary Love) sang at every concert of Vertigo Tour and 360, but still not at I+e Tour (his parts on Miracle Drug in Phoenix and Vancouver were pre recorded, right?)

If the general consent was poor and weak now, people are going to be very upset when Bono goes to Europe telling everyone they act like Americans.
  7. ugh I can't stand the fallon guy, feck off..
  8. All I'm going to say is that I'm pretty sure Edge kept the same guitar for 3 songs in a row (MW, Desire, AoH) - a record?

    (I jest)
  9. Great picture of the MSG

  10. wow looking at the sign you really see how long u2 are in nyc for, i hope they go out and enjoy the town if thats possible for u2 to do!
  11. Nice to read that the Roots came on stage tonight, I think their AoH at Fallon was incredible so must be good stuff. Pity though that people close to the band come up with things like huge surprises beforehand which then turn out to be another band on stage

Just 14 hours until my first show! Where I honestly don't care about the setlist at all, just bring it on!
