Tour: Innocence and Experience tour
Songs played: 27
Audio recordings: 1
  1. Yes. The Stephen Hawking intro did play before Beautiful Day last night, rather than City of Blinding Lights.
  2. Amazing night!
My 21 time seeing U2 and it was one of the best nights. The energy in the room was great. Bono was really pushing himself to another level. I had a bunch of first timers with me and they were blown away. The sound is amazing. The highlights for me were Cedarwood, invisible, streets. My wife flipped out when Jimmy and the roots came up. She tried to get tickets for this week and couldn't so she ended up seeing him anyways. It was really cool. I get someone listening to a stream to maybe be bored but in the house it was a blast and a highlight memory that I'll always remember. And I was at opening night of Zoo TV so I've seen some cool stuff.
The ga experience is hit or miss. Too many people walking around to get drinks but I'm glad I got to be on floor for first show. Tonight I'm in a seat and will enjoy the visual more.
Also the singing of One last with most the crowd singing the song doesn't work on stream or listening to boot but Wow is it cool if your at the show and let's face it that's all the matters.

"Opening night" Lakeland or opening night Miami for Zoo TV? Either one, our paths probably crossed! Lakeland was really, really special.

I literally cannot comprehend this. See you for tomorrow's show.

I'm sure it was an awesome show for those who attended. It's a little different in an online setlist party. We're here for the setlist, and the setlist was boring.

My setlist party experience of last night: Slot 14 was about to start, and Edge started playing something which sounded like it might become The First Time. Then that ended, and we got Desire by Jimmy Fallon. Then the Roots came on stage! Yeah! Awesome! But it wasn't as good as on the Tonight Show. No October. No Shine Like Stars. Hawking intro starts. Miracle Drug? Something different? Beautiful Day. Bad? Nope. Anything to make it more than the most barebones setlist they could've possibly played? nope.

I only heard fantastic things from all who attended, but from a setlist party POV, pretty miserable.

    Lakeland!
  6. Brilliant, right? Unofficial opening night. 8,000 seat arena. Magical...

I still have a "The Zoo Starts Here" sign board I snagged from a local newspaper box the morning of show!
  7. so the best of the night it seems to be the talk between Cesar and Ross about Sharknado ??

i didn t listen last night the show , but the snippet during OOC about 40 was cool ? could be more SBS snippet instead of 40 ?

can someone tell what is a surprise to Steve L. ???

Surprise is Hawkmoon , Heartland, GOd part II , Like a song , Acrobat or soemthing like this !!
  8. Don't take what we say in the setlist party seriously. Yeah, we bitch and moan but is like following the World Cup final from the radio or just following the play-by-play summary online. Of course we are upset, for not being there.
In here is all about making stupid jokes, listening through choppy streams whatever we could find, that's all.
For those who attended the shows, I'm very glad you like them! No reason to doubt the shows are awesome.
  9. hahha im know ... U2 always play awesomw shows ... is not the same listening in front of your Pc than being there .... Maybe a ( another) average show for ultra fans like we

    This and what Ross said.
Part of our rage also derived from the fact that the streams were incredibly choppy last night, it was terribly frustrating.

And also, Lillywhite over hyping Fallon and The Roots before the show
  11. Desire was a blast last night, really fun and really good version
  12. What a shame that girl was ushered off halfway through the song.
