Of course they are. It also struck me how little they interact with/look at the audience directly, Edge has his eyes closed for a lot of moments and Bono also looks the other way a lot. I think not to get annoyed too much
  2. Btw one other thing I noticed was that still half of the pricey seats first ring center were empty around 8:30, hence U2 started a bit late. Can't believe how many people turn up this late.
  3. The band waiting for the fans

Let's not forget Boston when he said "Put down your phones!" during one of the early songs.

Right?? The whole time my friend was checking her phone , it was nearly half an hour after show time and the band hadn't shown up yet.

I joked to my friend "one can't simply be late to a U2 show."

Obviously fans who came from work.
  8. Nick how was night 4 compared to the previous ones for you?

They usually start a bit later than 8, but I think 8:30 or something was even for them quite late.
  10. can't wait to see the difference when they tour in europe... at least I hope there will be one (less phones and more jumping).

I'd say last night was the latest they've started since one of the LA shows when they came on at 20:45.
  12. It's tough because U2 were nearly perfect every night. N1 was special simply because meeting up with Dylan and Ed ,and sharing moments like October and Shine like stars with Dylan was just awesome. N2 with my wife was amazing. We had terrible seats and she got us down to the lower by saying she was dizzy from the steepness of the venue !! And lets not forget Bad which is my #1. N3 was GA with my wife and I had a great group of people around me. I know people groaned on here but desire-angel easily set the crowd off more than any other e stage performance. Last night was special because I was with my dad. He's the reason I'm a U2 fan. And AIWIY!!!! So as far as pure fan experience , n3 takes the cake with the other 3 tied for second. I can't just pick. They were all so special fir different reasons.
