360 wasn't Hamish' work was it? So it should be better.

I liked the Elevation one although sometimes it all went so fast. But of course that's very subjective.
  2. That happened with Pasadena '09 too. They broadcasted the show live through Youtube which was fine, even very good, and then edited the raw recording, took out Breathe and just fucked up the angles and the camera changes. So yeah, same story I suspect.
  3. The fact they swapped out Breathe and changed the order was just one of their biggest DVD mistakes.
  4. Changed the order? How so? (Aside from dropping Breathe)

I guess you'll be seeing me then. I was there the morning HBO came by and started filming us in the dark in Vancouver.

Cameraman told us just to do whatever we were doing before he got there and pretend he wasn't there. He was there over an hour shooting us.

Back then I was so excited to see U2 on this tour..

  6. Crap, I'm at Paris (though only 1 & 2), & London 5 & 6.

Don't get me wrong, the filming adds to the excitement of the show (I was at Sydney ZooTV & Rosebowl 360). It's just that the shows prior to filming can be treated as rehearsals, with identical setlists. I saw the 2 shows before the Rosebowl, they all had the same setlist (actually all my 4 '09 360 shows had the same setlist). After Bono told me I'd get 2 unique shows I won't be happy if my 4 shows have the same setlist again

Still, how bad can a U2 show be, I'm sure it'll be a blast anyway.

Oh, I forgot Glasgow's in there too, so London at least won't be treated as a rehearsal

360 Las Vegas was superior to 360 Pasadena. Wish they had used that show. Everything was tight. We even had a jetliner fly over the stage above the claw.
  8. I don't know how they can possibly do stadiums with the current setup. Articles talking about The Claw cited one of the largest technical difficulties being designing and engineering a rig to support the massive sound system and video cylinder The Claw was known for. I'd be curious to see how they re-imagine this setup if they were to take it to stadiums, or even if they do stadiums at all. Vertigo is really the only tour in recent memory where they did both arenas and stadiums and brought with them a significantly different stage setup, but the Vertigo stage was way simpler compared to this one...
