The red box is a little smaller than the real one, I think. But when I put it on, it does look bigger:

It wasn't exacty how I anticipated the shirt (at the design page of spreadshirt, I streched the box much more), but it is fun enough for me

PS: the spacing between "14," and "1980" is also a bit too wide...
Now you're just being picky! shirt looks great.
  2. Thanks

(it's just weird you know: one moment I'm looking at a picture of Adam with a show-date shirt, the next I'm staring at the Oct 14, 1980 shirt - first continental performance + broadcast!!! Wouw, wouw, wouw...)

So... Now you have your new shirt, are you motivated to get back to the mixing board?

It looks bigger for a reason, my dear

But hey, it looks just AWESOME. I might do one myself if you don't mind me stealing your great idea (although 1987 is much further in U2's history ). Did you use Spreadhshirt's own design tool or just uploaded your designed image and "applied" it to the shirt?

Thanks! And yes, I uploaded my designed image (just like the ones posted here, same size etc.) and only streched it a little. But the people at spreadshirt seems to know what they are doing! (The quarter dropped: it's called spreadshirt for a reason... )

Eh...do you want me to make an image for your prefered show date?
(And don't worry about the alledged stealing: it is called postmodernism - and each date is unique etc... no them, only us...something like that )

  6. Very nice! How about we create a design for each of the countries U2 will play in, in Europe? Talking 9 countries then. We could even offer it via the U2start shop, I think that would be nice. It's just a date so not worried at all about copyright/stealing etc.

Tempted to have one of those Amsterdam ones too! Although I have too many shirts now for too few shows

    Great idea!

No problem for me to submit the various designs. If someone else can manage to put it in the u2start shop?

BTW: we might want to continue this in a different topic (like suggesting what generic date for which city)

Sorry, I can't help you. This T-shirt is quite a different story. But you might do a little research yourself as to where such designs could actually be printed?
  8. BTW, these were the 2 NYC#7 shirts:

Hope to find better pictures in the future, but very nice to see the return of the yellow "NEER PERFECT"

Sure I could take care of that! I'll create a topic for it later also to gauge interest.
