The other night in ga, about ten people back from the front, I was surrounded by middle aged people mostly. I counted, in the miracle, the six people directly in front of me videoing with their phones and looking through the screens the whole song. It's annoying to just have to try and see the band through the field of phones, let alone having to see them there on Facebook halfway through iris!

They aren't bad crowds when the hits are on.. I just can't believe that so many people can come to a U2 concert and know so few songs!

I hear you...at Chicago 3 I went nuts when they first started playing Gloria, while most people around me were clearly impressed by the energy of the song but seemed kind of confused at what the hell song they were playing!
Anyway, that's to be expected, I guess - when you're a big enough band that you can sell out shows 4-6 nights in a row in arena venues, you're going to have plenty of people that aren't diehard enough to know their whole back catalogue, especially now that they've been making music for almost 40 years!

I've enjoyed every one, although last night it got a bit much with elevation and ordinary love again. Can't wait to do it all again next year in Australia (and Japan if they ever get back). Can't wait for tonight.

Here's the way I look at it. You got to travel to see multiple shows. I envy you... Those days and that luxury are gone for me... I was looking forward to surpassing my 50th show on this tour... (If they) do return and play regional to me, I'll fall just shy!
Good, bad or indifferent... You were still there!
