  1. So happy with Gloria
  2. I thought he also struggled on EBW, omitting words. They also made a mistake during RBW I think, but does not matter
  3. He was terrible during EBW I thought they were having technical problems.
  4. I did not follow any shows since midway through US leg so I thought it was reworked a bit...but then I guess it was not? I noticed that Larry left the stage very, very quickly, maybe he was not pleased
  5. It was very very good! After 360 it could not better, yes today u2 did it again, I even enjoyed pride, desire and angel of harlem. First time seen gloria and october live, after 15 concerts. So I am happy. Isthfwilf is not a good closer. My wife who is a casual is completely impressed, she can't stop talking.
  6. does anyone think Bono's IEM was fucking up on him?
  7. So, I'm home. Stuck in traffic in the middle of the night That's The Netherlands haha.

My tickets were great, there are no bad seats, Remy (and others) were right. I could see everything (only Edge was blocked by the screen sometimes)

I really, really, really enjoyed it. The start of the show is so great (first 4 songs), a wall of sound that hits you in the face. Gloria was great, didn't expect that one, easily one of the highlights. The trio Iris, Cedarwood, SFS are alright, but they don't really get the crowd going, plus I think the screen plays a too big of a role during those songs (especially Cedarwood, which doesn't need all the video etc. because its just a great song by itself). SBS worked good, it does lose some of its power because it's followd by RBW and UTEOTW its understandable. RWB and UTEOTW are great, the visuals during both of those songs (and also during SBS) are way better imo, they are subtle and don't take away from the music.

Invisible is a bit weak, it doesn't really do anything. EBTTRT is amazing, god I love that song, also MW does still work it gets everyone on their feet.
The girl who came on stage had a Bad sign, when Boqno let her off stage he said something like ''We'll see what we can do about your request'' So that really had me excited Desire and AOH aren't the most suprising songs but they are well known and give a lot of energy, so I didn't care we didn't get anything special.

During EBW I could notice Bono had a bit of trouble with his voice, I really don't understand why EBW and October need the be played in a row (or EBW on piano). They are both beautiful but it gets a bit boring.
Bullet -Zooropa/Streets - Pride was the highlight for me. Great combination of songs. The Zooropa intro into Streets could use some work, Streets need to start while Bono is still singing Zooropa (imo of course). At the start of WOWY I thought it was Bad (:P How? I don't know haha) so I was kinda dissapointed it was just WOWY.

Then the encore, which is, I'm sorry, shit, really shit. COBL is alright but it sounds tired and I think everyone know what I think of BD and the whole ATCLB era. Also Still Haven't Found doesn't work as a closer.

So overall, great show. I didn't really noticed Bono having voice troubles. I don't really like the stage, it takes more away from the music than that it adds something imo.
  8. Good review bart
  9. Ouch!

+1 for the entire review. I don't know how to behave with the encore, it's just so boring. Takes all the energy away for me.

On the Bad sign, I heard he said: we'll deal with your advertising another time/later.
