  1. Originally posted by ferrari:It was very very good! After 360 it could not better, yes today u2 did it again, I even enjoyed pride, desire and angel of harlem. First time seen gloria and october live, after 15 concerts. So I am happy. Isthfwilf is not a good closer. My wife who is a casual is completely impressed, she can't stop talking.
Yeah Angel and Desire were great.
  2. Great show, very moving. First GA experience and loved it, great atmosphere and everyone singing and clapping along! I was in the south side, about 6 rows from the e-stage with a good view of the screen/catwalk. Loved seeing them pretty close. Beautiful visuals and usage of the screen.

Gloria was great, didn't expect that one. The energy during the e-stage set was awesome. Absolutely loved Bullet > Zooropa > Streets.

Didn't really notice Bono having voice troubles, although you saw Bono really working for EBW and it was a bit bland. My friend, who was with me and a casual fan, liked that song the most (though agrees it could use more power to the end).

The girl on stage had a sign with 'Bad' and immediately showed Bono when she was brought onstage. Which got my hopes up for Bad, unfortunately they didn't play it, hopefully Saturday.

The encore is indeed not that good and muddled, they need to work on that.

Overall it was a great experience, looking forward to Saturday.
  3. You guys all have to know : Kirsten (MacStripey) is the kindest, sweetest girl alive. Another show for me thanks to her.

    And : Gloria
  4. Oh, I don't doubt it. Great to see her on the post-show chats. And yourself too, Glenn! Really enjoying these Periscope chats with Remy.

I wonder if Pato has watched them yet
  5. Surreal to finally see the faces behind the nicknames and being on the live-side instead of after the screen. Great bunch of people yesterday and tuesday.
You'll only have the London shows, Tim?
  6. Barcelona too! I'm attending Barca 3 (and hoping for 4). Then Remy will pass the baton on to me in London.
  7. Sweet!
  8. Very glad that you boys and girls who were at the show enjoyed it
  9. Does someone agree that snippets are too much and that a song must be playe from incipit to the end?
  10. are too many
  11. Absolutely.
And it gets too much attention. Just have a look at the setlists.
  12. just woke up after yesterday's show. wow, what an experience first half of the show was great, atmosphere-wise. bono's voice was obviously struggling by the time EBW came around, was a bit worrying at times (he looked pretty annoyed by himself during BD, there was a close up of him up on the screen and you could tell he was struggling). will have to watch some videos to confirm, but it looked like the band was a little less playful than the night before from where I sat (103 - amazing view of the whole stage and screen), and a bit more... intense? first few songs till iris were GREAT, full of power. iris, sfs, october very touching performances. danced my heart out the whole time, despite the people around me and K being really damn boring. desire/harlem is my least fav combo, but all e-stage performances were fun and energetic!

all in all, I believe it was a good show despite the "negative" things I mentioned (we all know this is nitpicking on a high level). someone explain to me though why larry ran off the way he did the encore was so-so with cobl and ishfwilf. people didn't continue the chant because bono interrupted it by singing "people have the power". oh well.

still got ebttrl in my head, everything hurts because I danced like a maniac can't wait for cologne 1+2 in GA!
