  4. Just got back from the opening two nights in Europe....

    300's were very nice but slightly obscured by a glass fence, (best way I could describe it).. Sound was slightly muted but still an amazing gig.

    100's, (I was in 107, right by Edge), was totally incredible, probably the best I've seen so far, (and I'm approaching 100 shows), the sound was VERY punchy and all of the band at one point or another were less than 15 feet from us.

    On the second night I took a punt and hung round the back to watch for late arrivals before taking my seat. Both Jake Berry & Sam came through and posed for photos, chatted and gave little gifts. Jake especially was VERY chatty, admired my T-Shirt, (a police one from the Vertigo tour), and said his honest opinion is that the lower tiered seats are the best bar none. The sound/speaker setup is optimum at the lower tiers and you have a tiny bit of height to stop naff views...

    I have tickets both GA, Red Zone and MGZ's for upcoming shows and I have to say the seated zone lowest areas is the spot to be...

    Lastly, if you want to pick a side in the GA, go for Adam.... Yes, I know, that sounds daft but Edge is REALLY into his music and is all over the place so you'll see him lots anyway, Adam is just loving the moment, holding his area and really smiling at us mere mortals for long periods.. Hope it helps...

  7. For paperless tickets and the 2 ticket restriction, is it two tickets per transaction or per card? As in, could I have my card on multiple ticketmaster accounts?
  8. Rumours are that U2 will add more Dublin shows, early December. (There is some room around the 7th)
  9. If I get a Saturday ticket tomorrow that's me done. 4 is my limit. 10 shows in 10 weeks is definately enough !!

    2 per transaction is the official wording so yes you could.
  11. Has anyone seen the Student Ticket scheme before (i.e. for another gig)? Do you know if they are going to offer tickets for all sections or just a specific one?
  12. It says that there will be a limited number of floor tickets available for students, but the price range is €0-€70.45, so I guess there will be more sections available to students.

    I wonder if it's for Irish students only? Student tickets are available on Ticketmaster UK and it simply states that you must show a valid student ID card (which I do have). Not sure if it would be worth limiting myself further for a cheaper ticket or join everybody for a full-price ticket. I suspect both will be a nightmare.
