  1. But the post offices were only selling GA's..

So perhaps these are dummy tickets, which still require a creditcard. Or these are exceptions for Irish natives.
  2. Paper GA's were sold at the venue box office to those that qieied queued up.
  3. The only GA's which can be sold or trade then!
  4. The Irish Mirror just posted up a gallery of people looking elated at getting tickets, and one or two look rather sketchy - the sort of ones who will sell the tickets on at inflated prices. I say that because they are comparable to scalpers outside venues.

Oh really? Wasn't aware of that at all. I'd imagine they were for show, seems like too much hassle for entry on the night to have a few random tickets come in among thousands of credit cards.

Yeah I guess so, if you have a couple of people queuing for two days for tickets you can sell for five times their price its a good bargain.
  7. I apologise in advance if this is a genuine U2 fan who is on a fan site, or maybe even this one, but this looks like a guy who will sell a ticket for £500 on a corner near the 3Arena.

That's me uncle ya prick haha
  9. No different to people paying other people to queue up for iphones on launch day.

Hard to blame the promoters this time around. GA tickets heavily restricted with the credit card rules yet still making some available at the venue for those who wish to queue up.

Dangerous business judging people on their appearance [is]..
  11. I do it on a daily basis.

P.S. not saying I'm perfect - I'm far from it. Maybe I look like a scalper - who knows?
