    Well if someone enters a venue for a U2 show with a gun, it's quite likely he isn't looking for you or me.
  2. Bono's body guard is never far from his side but not much use if someone has a gun. Let's all hope it had nothing to do with the band
  3. a single man with a gun in a crowded house - he wouldn't have gotten any chance coming close to Bono. Maybe this was more like a suicide trip or maybe with a (ex)girlfriend being at the show or whatever. Many possibilities.

    But I guess, the man who let him in already lost his job.....

    Could just be a crazy person without any real target.

    Could also be some other target. Considering we've had our foreign minsiter, crown princess and also Melinda Gates attend the previous shows.

    Well, let's say he gets at front of the E-stage. I guess getting a gun out of your pocket, aiming and taking a shot could happen in about 5 seconds?

    But hopefully it was just a crazy person with a fake gun, looking to cause some trouble.....

    this speculation is interesting - it lends itself to who actually has the REAL info, and who is in charge of telling the public what all parties involved want the public to know = we will never know the actual info until a trial, and even then we will never know what went on during the process to bring us the info we have received. i'm ok with this, i actually do trust that the people in the know have the publics best interest at heart, but they also have the interest of their representatives to deal with as well - tourism, culture, the public...its an equation from hell
  8. Some more reliable Swedish news sources are Sveriges Television, Sveriges Radio, Dagens Nyheter, Svenska Dagbladet and Göteborgsposten. They haven't reported the Bono part of it. At least not yet.

    5 secs????!!!!!! if you can shoot, and your actually on floor at e stage you can do it in less than 2 secs, and no one around you will have any idea you did it...this is real

    because why would you...? no news should be reported yet because of the future safety of the band, their families and the people attending the show
