  2. A couple in front of me didn't jump during Streets/Pride. Felt I had to show them what this stuff is about, so I went as crazy as I could during the final songs. Got me some eye contact with the B-man.

  5. they play multiple shows in one city with nearly no changes in the setlist...this tour, especially the European leg, is big disappointment for me musicandbuzz is right.
  6. Okay. The Miracle works very well as an opener. Every Breaking Wave turns the arena into the milky way. The old big hits are received better though.
  7. I think the crowd singing One worked better than on Wednesday.

    Your music experience? Well so far I only know that you went to Rome and Paris '87, declaring this as the height of U2's touring while criticising their current setlists. What changed between these two concerts? They dropped Streets, swapped out Sunday Bloody Sunday for The Electric Co. and added Bullet/Running to the encore. No different to what they did in 80's, 90's, 00's or are doing now.

    I agree that it's not enough and I agree that they're playing much worse songs now, but to try and say another tour had it better in terms of rotation is nonsense. Zoo TV and Popmart were as rigid as lamp post, but at least they were solid gold lamp posts.
  9. Comparing this night to Thursday I'd say Streets and onwards may have been best on this show. Thursday beat it on the songs before that though.
