    I agree that it's not enough and I agree that they're playing much worse songs now, but to try and say another tour had it better in terms of rotation is nonsense. Zoo TV and Popmart were as rigid as lamp post, but at least they were solid gold lamp posts.


    I agree with you Tim….U2 have never has much set list variation at all….I saw the band 5 times in 1985 and 10 times in 1987…I went to all 5 gigs in NJ in '87..4 out of 5 were pretty much the same..N5 opened with stand By Me..Streets was in the encore…not that big a deal IMO…I saw the band 10 times in 1992..99% of these shows were exactly the same…..N2 in NJ '85 was a bit different from my other 4 shows….Gloria opened into I Threw A Brick…ah the old days..lol

    I get what he's saying about PJ , but as I said..U2 always have had a set setlist..you don't have to be my age (49) to know that...
  5. Still Thursday. That one had more energy from the beginning then this one. This one was the best one from Streets and onwards though, but not as good before that.

    But if you want guests and surprises, I guess you missed on out the bands Madison square garden run in July? There was nearly a guest or a surprise for each night.
  12. We are going well with our crowdfunding campaign to fly #back2stockholm to see the replacement show. Sundaynight we had to fly back to Holland for our work.
    Now lots of people from all over the world donate small and bigger ammount for us to be able to see the replacement show after sundays disasterour evening.

    Our crowdfunding page is at www.back3stockholm.nl/english We have raised 500 euro since yesterday afternoon! Thanks for all of you how participated. We are in conversation with the airliner KLM in order for them to cut/sponsor the price partly (because the lastminute prices are too high now).

    We still need 300 euro's in total for both of our return tickets from Amsterdam to Stockholm. Can you help us reach that goal? If it works we will take the 5pm flight to arrive in Stockholm ar 7pm and be at the venue at 8pm. We will fly back to Holland right after the show to show up for work wednesday.
