Big screens against even bigger screens, giant messages and phone calls to the White House by Mr. MacPhisto against giant lemons and karaoke by The Edge. Zoo TV against PopMart. Which one do you like best and why?

For me it's definetly Zoo TV. Believe me, I think PopMart was great too, but Zoo TV just had something special about it. The different stage personas of Bono, and the feeling it was more than songs being played. The mocking with the media in such an ironic way is just fantastic. Unfortunately I'm too young to have ever seen either Zoo TV or PopMart

Agreed! I love ZOOTV more than POPMART...
as you say, there is something else... and sincerely I really love the show!! it's amazing!!
POPMART is awesome too... but I'd stay with zootv!

Popmart doesn't stand much chance here...I believe a big majority would go for ZooTV...ZooTV was the creative one, ZooTV had everything, it was much more than a concert.

If Popmart had started like it ended then maybe it would rate more highly with me but it didn't. It gave birth and died in Vegas I think with only a few brief moments of glory. Need I point out what was good about Zoo?

For the record I was also too young to see either so i'm only basing this on bootlegs, opinion and downright bias.

I will always choose the ZooTv.
Such a great show won't be anymore performed neither by U2 themselves. This tour changed the way of playing live rock music.
The whole band was so inspired and Bono's characters.....amazing

well i saw zoo tv 1 time and the zooropean tour 3 times ....
and the pomart tour 2 times and i must say
ZOOTV & Zooropa is much better then the popmart tour ....
you can say the band had a lot off fun at the time and they did more there own thing
bono voice was way much stronger than at the popmart tour ....
the popmart shows where always strickt on rules they did not much inprovisation on
the stage ...
did not play with the crowd in my opinion ......
oke every show got there strong points but for me popmart was not wat i expected ...

Personly i think Zootv (which is my fav)will always have more credit than POPmart.For me havin seen it both indoors and outdoors i felt u2 and us never knew what was going to happen next,whereas POPmart had to be more structured for it to work.But it was still a trip .also i think at times it was u2 verses the screen for much of the tour.But once they got a grip of it they could enjoy themselves which are always the best shows

Popmart, it is my favorite tour and I think Zoo TV is overrated (I already know people's reactions

) The songs were great live (even if Bono's voice was not good every night), even the setlist was pretty much the same every night, and I like the Edge's guitar sound
