    They've been doing this way before Guy O'Seary. I saw every tour 2 dates or more starting with War. Starting with Zoo TV where they really brought technology into the show it handcuffed them in ways. When things are choreographed and cued it becomes difficult to ad lib too much. Ever seen live theater? How often does an actor ad lib the script?

    As far as PJ, I'd go see them more if they just played Ten every night. Have they made any relevant music since then?

    My advice... Take the rest of this leg off...
    PJ and U2 are my 2 favorite bands. As far as PJ being relevant? Pretty ignorant comment IMO. They sell out arenas without even trying and their fans are just as passionate, traveling from all over the world to see them. I'm sure you'd feel the same way when people say U2 hasn't done anything since zoo TV. I actually wish PJ were less relevant. It would make my life a lot less stressful when they tour. IMO they can't be compared when it comes to setlists and there's nothing wrong with that. They've BOTH been going about their live shows as they do since they started so it's a dumb argument.

    Depends on what you understand under relevancy of course. To me both U2 and PJ are very relevant, but the girl sitting next to me on the bus probably doesn't care for them.

    That's also what I always disliked about Bono and his relevancy story. What the hell is relevancy? To who do you want to be relevant?

    Notice the smile after the comment??? No need to get nasty. Everyone likes to express opinion in these forums.It's all a matter of taste. And opinion. And opinions are like assholes. We all have them and most of us are one. But I'm not going to call you ignorant over it... Or argue merit. You dig 'em, I don't. Nobody's right. Nobody's wrong. But thats just my ignorant two cents.

    I saw PJ at a small club of less than 100 a month before Ten came out and it was glorious. After that, the shows I saw became snoozefests, and eventually, I CHOSE to stop going... So, I guess that was basically my point. I guess I just should have been more clear about it. Just as anyone can CHOOSE to stop tuning in to these boring U2 setlists. All I'm saying.

    I do agree, they've both got their own thing and it works. And aren't most of the disagreements in here dumb anyway?

    And I own Ten and Reeenk Roink!, so that's all the relevance I need from PJ!
