Either Bono has a really big face, or this guy has a really small face!

We all have them and most of us are one. But I'm not going to call you ignorant over it... Or argue merit. You dig 'em, I don't. Nobody's right. Nobody's wrong. But thats just my ignorant two cents.

I saw PJ at a small club of less than 100 a month before Ten came out and it was glorious. After that, the shows I saw became snoozefests, and eventually, I CHOSE to stop going... So, I guess that was basically my point. I guess I just should have been more clear about it. Just as anyone can CHOOSE to stop tuning in to these boring U2 setlists. All I'm saying.

I do agree, they've both got their own thing and it works. And aren't most of the disagreements in here dumb anyway?

And I own Ten and Reeenk Roink!, so that's all the relevance I need from PJ!
I guess I should of put a smile after that comment. That would of fixed everything. You defend U2 setlist when another poster calls it boring. Same way I defended you calling PJ irrelevant.

All good, man. And actually, I wasn't even necessarily defending setlist Just saying that it (should be) no surprise it stays pretty generic. I can never get my point across directly without all the extra babble! The wife hates it!

Hell... See! Here I ago again. What were we talking about?
  4. i think that a real fan, a music fan, sometimes must have a different behaviour, i mean in all arts the opinions in front of a pic, a sculpture, a theatre piece, a book or a film must be not forced by love or remembering other moments. Everybody is a great fun when says , ok the band is great, they play well, concerts are superlative but............... so like a football fan who contest when the team oh his heart doesn't play well or when a player make to many misttakes. Objective, everybody must have his own pleasure by the way, but when there is something to critisize he has to do that without shame, otherwise there is no degustibus, no democracy in opinions but something like a diktat. The leitmotiv of arts and preferences is to respect, u2 are the greatest band in the world but they are not perfect, they are a society now. Thinks more to money and to good shows but without the feeling of once upon a time. Respect my opnion , are not two months (somebody wrote) that i listen to u2 concert but i am sure to have a good opinion about the actual situation. If read the chat during the concert on mixrl there are many fans that preview the setlist in advance. Of course.........bye everybody, i love u2 to and you 2 but with friends and the band of the hearth there is no love without the truth. Take it easy boys and girls .Sorry for my english again but i'm sure you will understand. Back to basics, starting from first performances in 80ies at Point Depot. :-)
  5. ^ *yawns*
  6. fan instead of fun sorry, i respect you u2jost , i have only a different education, yawns why darling, because you can't understand with real arguments? Or too many beers? ahahahahahhaha OMG
  7. U2 are and have never been all about money. They do things for money like you and me do things for money. Does that make you and me all about money?
  8. no i work not for money but for the life of my familiy ,irish people and u2 makes money and give money away for charities and social problems or culture. But now they can't do what they want, they have a contract with live nation and they must product, you know what i mean? Other opinions that i respect , because are really intelligent and not stupid like others, thank you i learn a lot with these exchange of thoughts DMM Mac Donald . ps how are hamburger and pommes at your Mac ? ahhahahahahaha i'm joking
  9. It's quite simple really.

U2 have never been, and never will be, a band that varies setlists massively. They're just not that kind of band. Period.
So its simply no use going on about this (and on and on and on... you have been on it for quite some time now...) . It's just pointless, however good you 'real arguments' are....

But hey, if ranting is your thing....who am I to judge?
    respect/ ciao
  10. yes respect of course, but in all arts all artists try to change, sometimes it seems to me to listen or watch the same film of Tarzan awaiting if he fall down or not ahahahah i like your answer, i like u2 and it will be forever. ciao u2jpost , let's come to italy to drink some good wine :-) ps i am a sort of ranting man in italy about music but it doesn't mean anything, in the case of u2 is only the heart speaking
