    If by "widespread euphoria" you mean a few people on the internet, then probably yes.

    The widespread euphoria is the people on the arenas cheering and singing on COBL, Elevation and the likes...

    That's likely the reason why they gave up on Miracle Drug.

    ...wide spread over the u2 forums perhaps, but COBL is that raise-your-fist-in-the-air kinda song and everybody like to raise their fist once in a while...especially on a Friday "nite"
