2015-10-13 - Antwerp
Tour: Innocence and Experience tour
Songs played: 27
Audio recordings: 3
  1. For me it doesn't matter if they play OL or Sweetest Thing, they're both boring as hell imo.
  2. What did you think about the crowd response last night ? From where I was, I thought it was pretty poor.
I had a seat in the second ring and lots of people went sitting every time a non-greatest hits was played.

GA seemed to be really packed.

Gonna make my way to the queue at 1 pm today. Facing the cold !!
  3. Ok its a long shot...over from Belfast to see the show last night. I have a seat tonight but my travelling partner is looking for a GA. If anyone has a spare.....

Shouldn't be a problem, lots of GA's offered. Keep an eye on Twitter, our show page etc.

GA was good Although that was full of Dutch
  6. I too though audience response was poor.
They responded to the big hits like Vertigo and SBS and Streets/Pride/With of Without You but not so much to the new album songs.

But the Sportpaleis seems so huge in contrast to other venues, it almost feels like a football stadium rather than an indoor place. The video screen is just until half way of the floor (compare that to Amsterdam or the 'tiny' venues in Dublin / Belfast). People might feel less involved because of this. Dunno
  7. The pictures are absolutely stunning, Remy. All of them. You captured great moments, like the one where the Edge lies on the floor, or where Bono throws the mic stand. And many more. Really amazing!

And then to think Barcelona floor was even bigger.

Thanks Petr! Really happy with them as well, I'll probably print some of them later for some collage or a photobook or something. Great memories too.

  10. Last night I was in section 103, (somewhat behind the I-stage) which I feared at first, but it actually turned out to be an awesome spot for a change!!
We were really close to the band, I had a great look at what was going on on stage (the drumkit, the roadies, the communication between Bono and the others, the little girl that came on stage during COBL, the autocue, etc etc) Luckily we were able to see the screen also.

At one moment, Adam and Edge came behind Larry, facing us; that was really special. Also: you get a real good insight in what U2 sees from the stage looking in the huge crowd. Almost like if you are on stage yourself!. Goosebumps because of the community-singing of 'One'. happy, happy memories.

Heading for Antwerp again in a few hours! section 119, on the long side now Yippie!
  11. picture is not great I see.... sorry about that!
