Tour: Innocence and Experience tour
Songs played: 27
Audio recordings: 3
Videos: 1
  1. I'm a little bit sad expecting the same setlist as at the Barcelona 2 show for tonight - those are my only two gigs on the tour. I love Elevation and Sweetest Thing, never really enjoyed Angel of Harlem much.

Any hope for a change tonight?
  2. Very little. Anything could happen but being realistic (aka expecting no changes) is recommended.

  3. Take some PITNOL, I'll bring some with me to Cologne.

Yep, as we've been saying, if you're at the E stage you'll miss a good 70% of the show, which happens between the I stage and the screen. Unless you're super tall of course You aiming for E stage again tonight? Or a more centered view?

If you're at the outer circle of the e-stage you can still perfectly see the i-stage and everything. That's why the e-stages outer circle is my fav spot (so the two outer corners and the middle end).
  5. They could play angel and desire when I see them next week and will still go crazy, it will be a shame though that there won't be much to look forward to after streets but I understand it is the greatest hits portion.
Gutted though that I chose London 1 and Glasgow 2 on purpose so I would get the different sets but still can't wait
  6. I would really love to go i-stage, but I'm #55 in the queue, so I guess it's unlikely and I don't wanna be second row, cos I'm immediately fucked when someone tall stands in front of me. I'll try the spot remy suggested, because that'll also give me a view of the catwalk will see how I decide once I run in.
  7. Last was my first show on tour also tonight and London 3&4. I'm currently sitting in the sun on the banks of the Rhine having a small pils and listening to my recording from last night. Life is good.
Recording came out better then I expected, in fact it's very good to my ears.

With regards to the "set list moaners and bashers". Not everyone who goes to shows is on these sites or torrenting sites, forums, YouTube etc. For them "every night" is a "first night". Of course if you have done multiple shows you would want a different set after a few shows. I knew what the set list was going to be and where the few changes might happen but it was an amazing show and can't wait for tonight. My recording will be available sometime during the week on the other site and I'm sure it will end up here. Chill and enjoy your shows
  8. Also as has been mentioned if you are tall enough edge of e stage almost in line with Adam or the Edge looking down the walkway to the I stage and screen is a great place to view the whole show and get a great recording.
  9. Everything, everywhere is amazing when u2 play........but setlists are copy and paste.
I am lucky, i saw them at the beginning of european leg in Turin 1 and 2 , afterwards i listened to every concerts but setlists are without surprises and repeated and repeated, i will stop to listen cause i'm getting bored.

#55 will get you a first row spot on the I stage, not center in front of Bono but surely mid stage in front of Edge's or Adam's. Remember that some of the queuers ahead of you will go to the catwalk and E stage as well, so there might be less than 30 people to populate the I stage - and its first row holds around 50 or 60 in total. So go for it I'd say

EDIT. The spot I'm talking about is somewhere around this: www.u2start.com/photos/view/16744/
  12. How does Edgle play the intro to Elevation without a pedal?
